RWAMATAMU HAS LANDED

by | Feb 3, 2026 | Blog

We are thrilled to announce that our Rwandan St. Cuthbert’s Journey Coffee is officially back again and has already landed on our shelves! Grown at an altitude of 1,800 M.A.S.L in the Mbare region, this wonderful coffee comes to us from Rwamatamu Coffee, through our incredible green bean partners at Omwani.

Rwamatamu who we’ve been sourcing coffee from for a while now, are a family run, community-driven coffee farm dedicated to social impact and speciality quality. Their commitment to sustainable farming, fair wages for local smallholders and educating the next generation is exactly why we love working with them – and the quality in the cup speaks for itself.

This new Rwandan coffee lot is less acidic than the one we chose last year, but we’ve retained a medium light roast profile to create a beautifully balanced cup with notes of blackcurrant and a delicious raisin sweetness.

We feel this coffee is best enjoyed as a pour over / filter coffee as it really lets int intrinsic properties shine – a beautiful clean cup.
