Ceramic Coffee Tumbler
Rawpots x Kaffeehaus
= a beautiful bespoke handmade ceramic coffee tumbler
Sip your coffee in style with this beautiful 7oz handmade ceramic coffee tumbler, a special collaboration between local potter Becky and coffee roaster Kaffeehaus.
Each tumbler is lovingly thrown and hand-painted by Becky Hellier aka Rawpots, making each piece one of a kind. Using our Haus design for inspiration, Becky has created these stunning coffee tumblers for us so you can elevate your coffee ritual with a truly unique drinking experience. We love celebrating local craftsmanship and collaborating with other small businesses and are so excited to bring you these beautiful ceramic coffee tumblers. Treat yourself or a loved, brew a coffee and savour the moment sipping from this wonderful piece of art.
Note: The tumblers are roughly 7oz but as they are handcrafted, size and design may vary slightly. They are microwave and dishwasher safe.
BECKY HELLIAR aka RAWPOTS
As a lifelong creative, I am always experimenting with different materials and picking up interesting bits and bobs along the way. I rediscovered ceramics in 2017 and haven’t looked back.
I enjoy playing with glazes and have found my style through overlapping, pouring, dripping and mixing glazes. With the burnt raw ceramic thrown into the mix, this creates landscape like images on my ceramics and has inspired my name Rawpots (RAW also being the initials of my maiden name). My work is very much inspired by our beautiful rugged North East coastline and rural landscapes.
As a single parent, I also have a ‘normal’ job, which helps provide a consistent income. I work with adults with learning disabilities and or autism, and try to incorporate working with clay as often as I can. It is a fab medium to explore, create and encourage general chitchat between makers in the sessions.
I think pottery becomes a way of life if you’re lucky enough to discover it and get ‘the bug’.
